Get Florida Health Insurance Information --
Health care reforms most eagerly awaited aspect is the new law from June which could rescue people from the greatest crisis ? those seriously ill with cancer and diabetes, facing medical bill and no one to offer health insurance.
The law offers $5 billion subsidies to states for setting up high risk health insurance pools in each of the 50 states to insure people with pre existing medical conditions such as cancer, diabetes and heart problems, who are not, offered health insurance by any private health insurance company at any price. The states have a choice of running their own high risk health insurance programs or ask Department of Health and Human services to run it, that ask federal government to run it. Each state gets a share of $5 billion subsidy on the basis of population and need.
Since the HHS is still framing the rules for the high risk health insurance pool, nobody can put their finger on how many of the estimated 12.6 million people with pre existing medical condition and without health insurance will be now insured. This high risk pool is sure to help people with last stage renal disease who cannot get dialysis done or those with diabetes whose wounds are not healing and run the risk of losing limbs. May people say that these high risk pools will exhausted pretty quickly as it is going to be overwhelmed pretty soon.
