"What are Aviation Hazards"
Aviation Hazard: The increased risk of death or injury resulting from participation in aviation, usually as a pilot. The presence of aviation hazard will often result in extra premium or the exclusion of certain benefits.
Additional Hazard associated with aeronautics other than that of being a passenger on a regularly scheduled airline. An extra premium is charged, and/or there are usually exclusions applied to certain benefits associated with this hazard. For example, pilots of small private planes are subject to this hazard.
