In an effort to meet the needs of Florida’s large minority population, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida has developed a variety of tools to better enable Spanish speaking Floridians. They have even developed a Spanish language website. Their goal is to develop a good relationship with the minority community and make them informed consumers of healthcare by providing education and assistance in understanding the health insurance marketplace.
