Better Health Insurance = Better Doctors

Florida International University has signed an affiliation contract with Baptist Health South Florida — a collaboration that will increase the number of doctors completing their residencies in South Florida. The partnership is a fantastic agreement. It benefits the College of Medicine by lending their expertise to the medical students and their education. It benefits Baptist Health, in that it will unquestionably result in their ability to recruit well-educated primary care physicians to our hospital staffs. And it definitely benefits the community, because there is such a huge need for more primary care physicians. Hopefully the new health care reform and new health insurance cost will help pay for their expertise.  What are your thoughts in this a good affiliation?
