Call For Government Integrity Towards Seniors
Carla Johnston of Naples, FL recently wrote in to her local newspaper with a call for goverment integrity towards seniors. She seems to feel that County Government is not always living up to the rule of “respect you elders” when it comes to important issues that affect quality of life for seniors. One of her main focuses was on the importance of healthcare among seniors, including publicly provided healthcare. She asserts that tax dollars could be better spent in providing incentives for a full range of health services. Johnston also feels that government tends to be all talk and no action.
