Cover Florida Health Insurance Flop
The Health care plan that Governor Charlie Crist introduced has proved to be unpopular amongst Florida residence. Fewer than 3,000 people have purchased the health insurance since it was available in January. The Governor says it is unsuccessful because there is not enough advertising to promote the plan. It has failed because the policies are still too expensive for the working poor, who make up two-thirds of the state’s uninsured. For those who can afford to pay for the insurance, the plans offer limited value. Prescription drug coverage is restricted, hospital stays are limited and the amount of money the insurance company will pay out in a lifetime. Would you purchase a plan such as this?
