Democrats Shift On Health Insurance

Jacksonville, Florida — The democratic Party is really on a push to reform health insurance in America . “Our democratic party would like to have health insurance for all of the United States”, the Associated Press reported from thier meeting in Pittsburgh last week. This is not a new democratic idea for 2009. Why have the democracts been unable to put their plan for universal health insurance into place?

One local resident of Florida claimed, “I’ve learned from my peers how a system of publicly funded, privately health care insurance could work”. Since being elected in March as a local delegate for Mr. Sen. Barack Obama, I thought in how our Democratic Party could use their platform to shift the majority of our nationas residents in a positive direction by recognizing that health insurance is a human right.

I’m really not sure that the Democracts will ever get this job done. Health insurance for everyone sounds great in theory…It works well in other countries around the world, but it would cost our economy to much in the end.

Communism sounds great in theory too….the problem is that reality doesn’t often follow theory.

Why havent’ they been able to put the plan in place……because it is impossible. There are enough problems as it is with Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security and most of the problems lead back to lack of approporiate means to run the different programs properly. Adding one more Government program like these will just make the system even more dysfunctional.

Yeah, you are probably right John. I don’t think it is ever going to happen in my lifetime. I guess it is not a right, but something you must account for in daily living.

With the way our economy is already struggling, this would add another huge financial burden. John is right, we have enough issues with medicare, medicaid, and social security. Don’t think it is going to happen.

Why entrust the delivery of a good idea to a process (government) that pursues power and influence at the price to us of putting their hands in our pockets to pay for it? And when they cannot get it right they don’t cancel the program, they just mint more $’s or take even more from us. No wonder we can’t pay for health insurance! There is plenty of money in the pork barrel! Empty it out back into our pockets. That would be change.

Free health insurance for all sounds like a good way to get elected. Maybe they have a “easy button”.
