The debate on health insurance reform is sweeping across the country today. It has now found itself figuring out what the process should be in the state of California. The legislative body in California will start meetings this week to make sure that the certain health care overhauls are being completed by the large health carriers of the state. There have been more than 15 bills offered that have a deadline to be passed this week. California, like Florida, is having difficulty putting many of these new laws into place. It seems to be a much disorganized process at this point in time and leaving many on both sides of the fence extremely frustrated.
The large size of the state in which California maintains makes the task of implementing health care reform more difficult than many of the surrounding states. I’m sure many of the states will follow suit in following California in there process. Many have recently lost health insurance in California due to the economic market and the Federal government is hoping these new changes will help stimulate jobs.
