Florida Set to Receive Relief From Medicaid Burden

The rapidly growing number of Medicaid enrollments has left a strain on states across the country. Florida has experienced one the most dramatic increases in participation, resulting in a strained budget and depletion of funds. Relief is in sight, however, as Obama proposes a stimulus package which would provide Florida with a much needed $4.3 million, one of the highest among all of the states in accordance to the proportionately higher enrollment. This boost could mean a great deal to needy families, and particularly children, as the unemployment rate continues to rise. Do you think the stimulus package will be approved and made a reality?
