Grass Roots Movement in Health Insurance Reform

December 30, 2008 — Jacksonville, Florida — Coming from the lowest levels and the highest levels of America…. A movement for grass roots health insurance reform has started.

Obama has inspired a new phenomenon in the realm of health care by encouraging grass roots movements toward reform. By seeking the opinions all all American citizens from every walk of life, he has inspired forums such as the one which occurred recently at the University of Central Florida. Nearly 60 people gathered recently in a University classroom at the request of Obama’s transition team to discuss the most important problems facing the health care industry. College professors, community leaders, and others have been supported in creating these opportunities for people to discuss the most pressing problems and brainstorm on ways to fix them.

The stories which were shared and ideas presented will be gathered and taken before the new president as he works on his plans to reform the broken health care system. Do you think the ideas of the common citizens will really be taken into account in the coming year? Will reform be sucessful primarily because Obama found a way to get an unprecendented number of people involved in the effort?
