You have seen it displayed on television lately the yelling, the frustration, the sign waving and the bad mouthing that have erupted in town halls all over the United States due to President Obama’s proposed change to the nation’s health insurance system. Now Floridians will get a chance to witness it in person and voice their opinion. Beginning tonight U.S. Rep Tom Tequesta will discuss his thoughts on the health reform tonight in Stuart. Followed by U.S. Rep Klein in Boynton Beach in which he will address the homeowner insurance issues. This is off the subject from the health reform but is an issue that will come up. Finally U.S. Rep Robert Wexler will speak in Boca Raton to an assembly of retirees. They will be discussing the proposed plan that everyone is required to have health insurance and the issues surround the heated topic. What do you think will Floridians voice their honest opinion about the proposed health insurance changes?

To put it mildly, the Republicans, and the health care industry have been little brats; they have kicked and screamed, and thrown themselves down on the floor and cried like snot-nosed babies for more than a week because the President thinks health care is too expensive. Normally, when a baby throws a temper tantrum, you ignore them until they cry themselves out, and then you put them to bed, but not this time, no. This time the baby cries, and screams, and lies; and we give it a lollypop.
Their crying, and screaming is not about changing health care; it is about other deep-seeded issues that we need not go into at this time. But no matter, their crying fit has worked, the media, and all of us took notice. We all stopped what we were doing to pay attention to a very bad baby. We have given credit to their behavior, which makes one wonder what kind of parents we have become.
