Hillary Clinton Wins Florida Primary * No National Delegates Will Count

Miami, Florida January, 30, 2008

Hillary Clinton wins on Super Tuesday in Florida. The former president’s first lady took a commanding lead over Barack Obama, taking 50% of the voters. The DNC had decided that Democratic candidates would not be able to campaign in the state of Florida for the primary. This has lead to a lopsided victory for Hillary Clinton. Her camp states the victory as a big head of steam going into the next primary, while Obama’s group states that, since there weren’t any national delegates, we see what happened as a tie. Read yesterdays update by Florida insurance advocacy group, Florida Health Insurance Web, in their continued coverage of the 2008-09 election. Today we will be following up on Barack Obama’s health care plan. Stay tuned…

Barack Obama will for sure have the best health insurance plan for all Americans, including those in Florida. You can’t make everyone purchase health insurance, it won’t work. What happens when all of the insurance companies and millions of jobs that have been created, go away. That alone would put our economy into a recession.
