Let There Be LIGHT
A fledgling organization in Southern Florida known formally as the Long-term Impact through the Gift of Hope & Treatment, or LIGHT, has been created to help those suffering from cancer whose insurance will not cover their expenses. They are currently working to save money and create awareness among cancer sufferers that they are available to help. Right now their hearts are bigger than their wallets, but they will not let a bleak financial landscape daunt their efforts. The group feels that too many people face having to stop treatments due to expense and many die needlessly due to financial constraints. Will the optimism of this group overcome the recession burdened economy? Or are there too few resources to go around?
