Obama Attacks McCain on Issue of Medicare
Florida once again finds itself the swing vote as the presidential campaign winds down, with both candidates trying to win the senior vote. Obama is attacking McCain’s plan and scaring seniors by saying that Medicare would lose a tremendous amount of funding and seniors could face losing their social security benefits. Experts are also predicting that under McCain’s plan, many lower income families would not be able to afford health care, even with McCain’s tax credit, and that the high risk pool would not be able to cover everyone. The fear is that more people will lose insurance, rather than insuring the millions who already lack coverage. Which candidate do you think has the advantage in Florida right now?
