Rising Healthcare Costs Hit Florida Especially Hard

While healthcare costs have risen nationally by about 6% on average, Orlando, FL was hit even harder with over a 9% increase. This means that Orlando experienced a greater increase than all but two metropolitan areas surveyed. This means a higher burder on employees for their coverage, and lessening coverage overall. This trend seems to be a continuation from last year and shows no signs of reversing. Why do you think this area was hit harder than others?
