South Florida to Benefit From Agreement Between Insurance and Providers
United Healthcare and Sheridan Healthcare, Inc have come to an agreement which should prove benficial to South Floridians. The long-term agreement will grant access to Sheridan Healthcare’s network of providers eff May 1st to all United Healthcare health insurance members and affiliated company members, such as Neighborhood Health Partnership. Dan Rosenthal, CEO of South Florida’s divison of United Healthcare says that the agreement is part of an ongoing attempt to provide members with a broad range of choices in providers and health care options, and that the company is very pleased with the partnership. Sheridan runs over 100 facilties throughout 19 states and offers a laundry list of specialties. How will this new partnership affect the quality and affordability of care in South Florida?
