States Struggle With Health Insurance Cuts

Obama’s proposed efforts to help struggling state economies may come too late for many people, as states are forced to cut the budget on many programs which aid the poor. Some of these programs are for such important items like health insurance.  Coming at an unfortunate time, when an unprecedented number of people are losing their jobs and actually qualify for the state and federally funded assistance, these cuts will leave many people vulnerable. The aid package that Obama has been working on may come too late for a number of services which may come to an end before the aid can arrive. States have been working to cut the budget on a number of other programs in other areas, but it won’t be long before health care assistance is forced to be cut as well. If many of these programs are dismantled in this difficult time, will it be possible to ressurect them again, or will it be too late?
