As United States senators primed for a critical vote on the health insurancereform this weekend Hundreds of nonconforming doctors and nurses protested at the Freedom Tower as well as 25 other locations nationwide. They were carrying signs and delivering speeches publicizing objections to the proposed reforms. The doctors and nurses warned that the bill being discussed in the Senate this week would significantly change the relationship between Doctors and their patients. Dr. Yvonne Sherrer a rheumatologist from Fort Lauderdale, Fl protests that the bill would further restrict how doctors can treat patients. The Senate bill also suggests the development of new patient care models, which is a very intense topic of contention for the large group of conservative doctors and nurses. The doctors criticized this bill as a takeover by the federal government. What is your opinion? Do you side with the conservative physicians? Are the feds taking over our health care?

   Certainly they are. What else could it be called. When they have to make payoffs to their own congesspersons in their own party it is much more than a takeover.
